If your previous passport was issued when you were 16 or older or has been expired for less then five years (fifteen years from the issue date), you may be eligible to renew by mail. If you choose to renew in person, you must complete the DS-11 Passport Application and pay the $35 application acceptance fee. We cannot accept the DS-82 Renewal Application.
